Tried this place on a chance after work tonight with low expectations as most of these places just aren’t good but WOW was very impressed. Food was fresh and a lot of it for the price . Will definitely come back when we’re in the area again ..we got chicken and broccoli, crab Rangoons , donuts, pork lo mein, sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice , all of which were amazing

Good food. Husband ordered the garlic pork and it was a little too sweet for his liking. Told server and she checked with chef and they said next time they’d get it right for him. I ordered Sichuan chicken and it was yummy. Hot and sour soup above average. Only comment is the egg rolls were gummy inside and not much stuffing , but they come with dinner combos. We didn’t finish these. Kungfu Chef and Koyame are two best places for Chinese cuisine in The Villages.

Great place! Just had the best Sesame Chicken that I've had in decades. The restaurant is spotlessly clean. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient . Prices are reasonable and portions are large. The accustics of the restaurant are better than most other restaurants in the area. A wonderful experience. See you again soon.

As a food reviewer for Res Menu, I was excited to explore what Kungfu Chef has to offer. The ambiance is welcoming and cozy, making it an ideal spot for casual lunches or dinner outings with family and friends. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with friendly service that sets the tone for a memorable meal.

  • Signature Dishes: One standout is the Sesame Chicken, a crispy delight featuring tender white meat chicken enveloped in a rich sesame sauce, complemented perfectly by steamed broccoli. At just $15.99, this dish embodies the restaurant's commitment to quality and freshness.
  • For seafood lovers, the Walnut Shrimp is a must-try. Lightly battered jumbo shrimp glazed in a sweet and tangy sauce, topped with honey-glazed walnuts, offers a balanced explosion of flavors. Priced at $17.00, it is a dish that speaks to the artistry of Kungfu Chef.
  • Noodle lovers should not miss the Asian Noodle Soup with beef, featuring braised tender beef chunks immersed in a nourishing bone soup, creating a comforting and hearty experience at $15.95.

As I delved into various dishes, it was clear from customer reviews that Kungfu Chef takes pride in their food quality and customer satisfaction. Patrons like Cowgirl Momma rave about the generous portions and freshness of the meals, while Mary Vaughan appreciates the reasonable prices on lunch specials and the cozy atmosphere.

Despite a few minor complaints—like a sweetness level in the garlic pork as noted by C F—the overall consensus is overwhelmingly positive. Feedback on dishes like the Sichuan Chicken and fried dumplings suggests they are executed with care, and I found the hot and sour soup to be impressively above average.

Kungfu Chef Asian Restaurant is a true testament to the flavors of Asian cuisine. With their diverse menu, including vegetarian options and a variety of beef, chicken, and seafood dishes, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by this delightful restaurant where each meal is crafted with passion and dedication.

In Conclusion, Kungfu Chef stands out as a top contender for authentic Asian cuisine in The Villages. Their fast service and family-friendly environment make it a perfect destination for your next meal. I can assure you, after one visit, you'll find yourself wanting to return again and again.
